Volunteer with One Hard Thing!

On Saturday June 24th 2023 we send 25-30 volunteers to SF Richmond District homes to help a senior or adult with disability with a task. Tasks range from gardening/weeding to decluttering to light maintenance to changing smoke alarm batteries. We do this event 3 times a year and many of the Richmond Senior Center clients rely on it to complete household chores too difficult to do on their own.

The day starts at the Richmond Senior Center (6221 Geary Blvd) at 9:45am with refreshments and an orientation and volunteers are sent to homes 10:30am-12pm.

Afterwards, you have the option of returning to the Richmond Senior Center for a catered lunch.
